On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to extend a warm welcome to each of you to the 15th ICCE Global Coach Conference, being held in the historic city of Athens, Greece from 20-23 November 2025. It is an honor to bring together such a diverse and passionate community of coaches, coach developers, coaching researchers and sport leaders from around the world.

This conference serves as a remarkable opportunity to explore the latest developments in coaching research and practice, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions that will shape the future of coaching across all levels of sport. Whether you are here to gain new perspectives, deepen your knowledge, or exchange experiences, we are excited to provide you with a platform to grow professionally and personally.

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure and honor to invite you to the 15th ICCE Global Coach Conference in Athens, (ICCE GCC 2025) to be held in Athens, Greece, from 20th to 23rd November 2025.

The ICCE GCC 2025 is co-organized by:
(a) the Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers (POPA), a professional association representing all Greek coaches in Olympic and non-Olympic sports; and
(b) the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE), a non-profit international organization dedicated to leading and supporting the global development of sport coaching.

The theme of the Conference is “The Coach in a fast-advancing technological society. Developing skills for 2030 and beyond” and our goal is to bring together coaches, coach developers, researchers, sports scientists, technical directors, institutions and sports administrators to discuss key issues in reference to coaches, explore new research on the topics, and share experiences with some of the world’s leading experts in coaching development. Join us for this event and share your own research and expertise with your colleagues!

Athens has much to offer as a historic city renowned for its ancient monuments, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant blend of modern and classical life. It is also the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games, “Agon and Athletismos” (sports).
The Local Organizing Committee is working diligently to ensure the ICCE GCC 2025 will be an unforgettable event.
